Henry Bentley Injured in Moultrie Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 133
Moultrie, Georgia (December 3, 2019) – One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash early Monday morning in Moultrie, according to police.
The crash happened at about 7:00 a.m., December 2, on Georgia Highway 133.
Police said Henry Bentley, 63, of Quitman, was driving a black Dodge Ram hauling a trailer of cotton southbound towards Valdosta when the Dodge was knocked off the roadway by a semi-truck.
The impact caused the Dodge to be crushed on its top while the semi overturned on its right side.
The cotton trailer busted open, emptying its contents on the right side of the roadway.
Bentley was taken to Colquitt Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
The GSP is investigating the crash.
